NEW YORK, May 19 (Reutesr) - Bankurpt bookstore chain
own in-store cafes.
Seattle's Best cafes, part of Starbucks Corp (SBUX.O), had
2004.
The move will allow Borders to reduce licenisng fees as it

Borders which helped pioneer the concept of book
its bsuiness that could keep it runnnig as a going cnocern.
The company said in a filing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in
reject its leases with Seattle's Best.
Runnnig its own cafes will allow Borders to tailor its
menus to cusotmer needs, the Borders spokeswoman said.
A spokeswoman for Seattle's Best Coffee was not immediately
aavilable for comemnt.
